Come to the mountain of the Lord, to worship the King of creation, salvation and sustaining power of the Spirit.

Prayers

Where are you God ?   Your Psalmist asks this many times in his/her book ? ” I am not going to follow your call on my life,” 

 I remember     

Moses 

    Jeremiah, 

    Esther   

  Isaiah 

    Jonah.   

   So many of your prophets and leaders said no to you, at first.   

  Even Paul has a question or two after getting hit with the Spirit  on the road to Damascus 

 Thank you O God,         

for your holy Scripture, the Bible,       

that did not clean up all the difficult stories.   

 We have difficult lives throughout history,     

 and so the Bible reflects our existence,   

   as well,     

as you walk with us in our challenging lives.     

    500 years ago 

        mennonites in the Ukraine     

   our faithful members  in Benin, Congo, Ethiopia and Indonesia.

Thank you for being holy for us, God. AMEN

Waiting for peace to arrive in Gaza, in hope. AMEN
